About Prema

 

 

Hello.  My name is Prema and I’m a professional life coach, amongst other things.  I’ve spent a lifetime learning how to find meaning, fulfillment, joy and peace in this wild ride that is life.  It has been, (and still is), an incredible journey with extraordinary teachers and it has lead me to a place where I can truly say “I love my life!”.  I am here to share what I’ve learned with those who want to be with the wonder and the mystery of life, who want their work to hold meaning and joy, who want to align their dreams with the dream of the Divine and experience them unfolding with integrity and magic.

I’ve been coaching in organizations and in private practice since 1989 and have worked with 100’s of clients.  And my delight in working with people only continues to grow as I witness people coming home to their heart – their own eternal source of wisdom and inspiration.  For me the magic of life, and of coaching, is this continual aligning with the wisdom, the knowing and the joy of the heart.  This is the place of Healing Wisdom.  It is the doorway to the Divine in whatever way you relate to that.

My professional training includes majoring in philosophy at Sydney University and a professional coaching certification from The Coaches Training Institute.  Currently I am doing a 12 year shamanic apprenticeship in the Huichol tradition of Mexico.  My background includes 25 years of studying and teaching yoga and meditation.  I was the wellness director for a spiritual retreat site for 10 years teaching and coaching staff and visitors on all aspects of wellbeing – physical, emotional and spiritual. 

I love to teach and travel and offer workshops in the US, New Zealand and Australia on Transition and Intention.

And, on a personal note, I love spending time in nature, sitting around a fire with friends, listening to live music (my husband Scott is a musician), dancing and hanging out with horses.
